Si bien Armagedon no destaca por ser una de las películas más maravillosas de la historia del cine, resulta imposible negar la calidad de su banda sonora. Además, como amante confesa del rock, he de decir que el hecho de que Aerosmith interprete la canción principal de la película, resulta un punto más que positivo. El grupo consiguió con “I don’t wanna miss a thing” su primer número uno en las listas de Estados Unidos, manteniendo su puesto durante cuatro semanas, erigiéndose como la canción romántica del año, además de representar su lanzamiento a la fama.
